The Village of 100 Mile is currently experiencing a mini bank run.
The WLDCU has capped weekly cash withdrawals at $2000.
RBC has capped weekly cash withdrawals to $500.
CIBC has a $3000 a week limit. Customers are now encouraged to pre-order their cash.
Need Cash? We at the Village Voice are testing a work around to these anti-reality Bank policies.
How? Two people would come together in trust and write each other a cheque. Then go cash the cheques! Try to cash ‘em the policy may not apply to cheques, only withdrawals. If it turns out they are not honouring cheques we really do have some deep deep mistrust happening in the Banking System!
Anyhow, welcome to the “New Normal”… ? No surprise to anyone who has been paying attention to the Narrative.
