Arthur is a good dog. He currently lives with a friend of mine. He is fully recovered from a puppyhood of anxiety.
He is an oversized puppy (Aikeda mix) who likes to explore the territory. Arthur is an inside outside dog and he likes to explore. Periodically, my friend leaves Arthur outside while at work over night.
The last time Arthur returned home he was wearing a brand new Flagging Tape Collar! Attached to the “collar” was a nice note.
“This is a nice dog. Since he is down here regularly we would like to know his name and where he lives. A collar and name tag would be nice.”
Arthur is making friends around his neighborhood.
Reminds me of a cat story. I ran into a lady on the street one day when my cat had followed us some distance from our house. She exclaimed to me:
“Is that your cat?!”
“yes it is, if a person can ‘own’ a cat” I replied… “uh-oh has he been to your house too?”
She responds “Oh yes, he has his own window to come and go, he likes to visit for treats around 7 at night”
“Well, you’re not the first person and I doubt you’ll be the last to befriend this cat, lovely to meet you”
We are truly blessed by our furry friendships aren’t we?
