Courage : Nurse reflects on the Slow Roll Convoy
Good Morning Wildflowers!
I am one of the many local Health Care workers lost to mandates last Fall. I was asked to reflect on what yesterday’s local convoy event meant to me. I am compelled to say the following : it was so wonderful to see such an impressive crowd in our small community standing together!
United in conviction and spirit of choice. It was so special to see so many smiling faces and to hear children laughing again.
Our community came together yesterday to stand (and roll) side by side. To stand united in saying NO to mandates and corruption. So many members of our community took the time to stand together to say “no more!”
One of the biggest things that stands out for me is that the truckers have what no other group impacted by mandates had.
~ The truckers have unity ~
The truckers stand together on this. They have supported each other regardless of status.
They are the true heroes now because they respect their colleagues’ right to bodily choice. They are the ones who have stayed united!
In demonstrating their solidarity- and in their strength en masse- they have shown us all how to come back together! In their unity they are the ones who restore hope across our great land!
~ The nurses and healthcare workers couldn’t do it.
~ The doctors couldn’t do it.
~ The hydro workers couldn’t do it.
~ The firefighters couldn’t do it.
So many times I was brought to tears this week as I watched our truckers from the west make their trek across the vast landscapes, gaining momentum in each community they rolled through.
To then see families, friends, neighbours and entire communities come out to cheer them on as the convoy rolled through their towns and cities was profound!
Truckers from the West.
Truckers from the East.
Truckers from the North and from the South.
Truckers and supporters from across the entire country to form the largest convoy ever!
These truckers are taking a message to Ottawa on behalf of Canadians.
They are demonstrating on behalf of everyone who believes in choice and hopes of ending the horrible and unlawful mandates. And the trucks that rolled here in town, well the magnitude of that act is a story NOT to be under-told!
My prayer and the prayer of so many others is that God will protect them and those who are joined in unity with them.
I pray God will protect them from the attacks of the enemy who is out to destroy.
Dear Father God please restore our Freedoms and heal our land!!
What the enemy meant for evil, God meant for good.
God keep our land glorious and free!
