Riding the 2022 wave into shore

The Village Voice circulated in print for seven months producing 7 issues in 2022 … 2023 is a “Seven Universal Year”. A pleasant synchronicity! The number 7 is not satisfied with simple explanations and surface-level information -- this is frivolous stuff. Seven is the number of truth, the real gold, which is always buried deeper ... Asking questions, researching, listening, and sensing are all attributes of the 7. What an interesting time to be able to write to readers straight from the heart.
What an interesting ride the 2022 wave has been. I know myself and the other writers who have helped begin our local version of the The Village Voice have really enjoyed having an eccentric periodical in print. To be able to publicly notice what’s happening on the new-wave. A local writer’s gazette is a special thing. Gazette : observe, consider and announce. The Village Voice in 2022 was mostly the simple thoughts, ideas, creativity and concerns of a crew of people making and riding the waves of 2022.
In order to keep the publication in print for circulation around the Campus as it has been since June, we aimed to recruit 10-12 sponsors. Unfortunately, we were only able to recruit 2 1/2 paid sponsors. We heard lots of positive feedback from both The Village Voice host locations and the readers. The readership reflected back to their networks and word always got back when people were enjoying the print publication. Many of the publication stands were regularly emptied each month. We have taken notice of the encouragement to keep going and hope to continue print publications in the future once we can reach adequate sponsorship and participation levels.
The Village Voice articles will continue to be published online brought to you by the Real Life Network - however, the print publication will be entering a temporary hiatus. If you are eager to see The Village Voice back in print, please send us a message and let us know if you can help with monthly layout, running the printer, recruiting sponsors and/or delivering papers.
Email : village.voice.rln@gmail.com or join the chatter on Signal.
The online articles will be receiving an upgrade in formatting and will migrate from its first iteration on the clunky Wix Blog Server onto the much more reader friendly Substack Publishing Server.
We sincerely thank our original sponsors (Nuthatch Books and Gene Media Creative Studio) and host location supporters (Exeter Sporting Goods, JJ’s Inspirations, Crafters Market, Nuthatch Books, PBass Fish & Chips and High Ground Cafe). Looking forward to more people learning about the new models that are available to help re-orient the people in our Campus and on Earth.
Happy Wolf Moon cycle (first moon after the Solstice). Rest, reset, remain calm and lean into the available support in your life. And when thy cuppeth overflow may it be arranged such that the contents fill someone else’s cup instead of going to waste. Love Wins 99 (mind that pesky 1 percent at both the micro and macro level!)
