Slow Roll Fun Raiser!
It was a windy and eventful day last Saturday in the Mile known as 100! Folks were hosting curious people who convoyed from all around the greater region and made their way to converge upon the big skiis in 100 Mile from as far away as Quesnel and down south from Clinton all converging to Play and Discover what is so uniquely happening in the Mile and the South Cariboo Campus.
Volunteers in the kitchen provided food and snacks for upwards of 300 attendees of this Special Event!
An impromptu move by the good folks from Lac La Hache who brought a stage and large speakers caused both a DJ and vocalist to take to it! The stage also facilitated a space for children to sing along in the anthem.
Someone brought hockey nets and there was a few small pick-up games of shiny in the parking lot.
Cameo Radio was live on scene getting the views of the people who are discovering the good news in their hearts. Shout out to the technical and moral support of Gene Media!
The infamous Quaxxine 19 was spotted capturing this New Renaissance in some of the exhibits demonstrated by the Wildflowers. The designs and prints of The Fringe Creative have no doubt become a testament to the very unique Drive for Freedom that is and was the great convoys of 2022!
A personal highlight was the fresh bannock - and at the end of the event I noticed one was intentionally and thoughtfully left out for the birds.
A mainstream reporter was spotted on scene with a twinkle in their eye! While a box of print copies copies of the Village Voice Gazzette were delivered to eager recipients!
While the convoy movement may not have found freedom in Ottawa, the movement and spirit itself continues in the hearts of the people who were called to participate in such a divinely orchestrated demonstration of peaceful and spontaneous activity. It was truly and emergent “see”.
Many people continue to be led by the spirit in their hearts and are now moving closer to home to continue their missions.
Another Convoy is headed to Victoria March 1-3 {Apparently Mar 2 in 100 Mile @ 3:30 at the Coop Cardlock}. Join the Signal chat to play along.
Meanwhile, the magic will continue right here in the hearts of the Wildflowers of our Local Collective. At every event we see and meet more and more wildflowers who give their energy so generously and signal the beginning of the renewal from the ashes of our burning institutions. They spread love and joy and purpose wherever they go. They work Courageously despite differences or perceptions of division.
Wildflowers are delicate but designed to emerge courageously in the open space - and are not afraid of conflict. Wildflowers know how truly divine and important each unique contribution is to the collective.
See you next Saturday! Same place 9:30am Pancake Breakfast before forming a Human Chain at 10:00am. Bring your people!!
Art imitates life. Life imitates art. Life is a dream and when the dreamer awakens it will be to the world they know in their heart. What is your dream?
