Mourning the Monarchy
Did you know that the federal government here in Canada declared Monday, September 19, as a national day of mourning for a queen who recently died? I never knew her so I can't honestly say I feel any grief over her death, certainly don’t need an entire day to mourn her passing. To me it seems strange that a holiday would be created.
